Stella & Roxy explore historic Harlem

In an effort to wear down some of Roxy’s puppy energy, we set out for a walk in upper Harlem (the 160s).  I have been wanting to see the Morris-Jumel Mansion for awhile now, so I was very excited to finally have J to go with me.  And for those that are curious to know, Morris-Jumel Mansion is located  on roughly 160th street.  It’s nestled between the Harlem mews, beautiful tree-lined streets, brownstones, and large apartment complexes.  When we finally arrived, I literally gasped.  It was like stepping back in time. (BTW, I’m such a history geek).
