Since I’m on Spring Break I have plenty of time to take this stupid ticket to court. But after consulting my friends in law enforcement and after looking up the ECB location (I mean, where the heck is Peck Slip? I don’t leave the island) I decided to just mail in a stupid check. 50 bucks is a lot of money for a po’ hs teacher, but whatever. I do thank the Parks Department for turning me into a very clever future criminal though. Next time this happen (yep, I’m not going to stop letting my dog play in the park… the “local” dog park is 22 blocks away.) I’m going to tell them that I’m 16 (I don’t have to show anybody my ID b/c I don’t carry one! Boo Yeah!), give the idiots a false name an address (Pam Halpert, Isabel Shurute, Avery Fisher, Khloe Odom…) and move on with my day. So again, thank you Environmental Control Board for turning a good girl bad. xxx

honestly, would u give this dog a ticket
I’m so mad I could spit. Earlier this evening I took Stella out for a walk in her favourite park across from our apartment. When I got to the park there was already 2 other dogs playing. After some time 2 parks dept officers approached me and my friend to give us tickets for having our dogs off leash (technically, Stella’s leash was still attached to her harness). Anyway, to make a long story short, I received a ticket today for no reason. Yes, the signs say, “No Dogs Off Leash”, but Stella was not off her leash. What can I do? Would you honestly give this cute dog (and equally as cute owner) a 50 dollar ticket? This is what happens when idiots run the asylum.
